My teachers have told me about King Bruce who saw a spider trying to traverse to her web. Apparently, the spider kept falling but kept trying again and again. This inspired the vanquished King to cobble up Scottish resources against England. He fought the war again and won it.

The story has been told to me by teachers throughout my schooling-life. Somehow, none of them touched upon whether the spider took the same approach to climbing up the rope each time.I want to believe that it didn't.

When you want to reach a destination, it hardly matters which flight you take to go there. Once you've landed, the focus is on you - not on the flight.
