Graded
'Think about it' has been graded 53 and ranked at 123,327 out of approximately 253,308 other blogs that have been graded.Who graded it? - The Hubspot Blog grader ; Here it is : http://blog.grader.com/report/grade/www.nikhilsharma.posterous.com There are a number of metrics defined here and frankly speaking, I am not concerned with 75% of them. Only 2 of the specified metrics made me feel happy about my endeavors. - Number of items in the feed (satisfactory by industry standards)
- Average reading time per post.Effectively, if my posts are able to grab your attention for 1.2 minutes and make you 'Think about it' for at-least half a minute after that, I really am happy.Do rankings matter? I don't think so ; but I agree that analysis definitely matters.Thats because an impartial analysis allows you to gauge if your blogs/websites/products/services are standing true to their raison-de`-etre`. Are number of hits/ avg reading time the only gauging factors? Not at all. The answer the the earlier question are two more questions
- Why are you doing this? (writing/creating...)
- Who are you doing this for? Finally, one tip- If you write a blog, use the blog grader and not the website grader.
