If you do not understand something, ask.

If you are in a session where you are the only one asking doubts, it does not mean the rest of the participants are understanding everything. Trust me, they are thankful to you for having popped that elusive question. If you are a student, you do not get rated for being the ‘know it all – no doubts – heady’ persona in class ; you get rated for faring well at an examination; you get rated for being thorough.

If you feel embarassed to ask a question thinking “Hey, ideally, I should have known what this is”, then ask the question is a different manner – “I understand you are referring to this. Am I correct? “. But ask.

While some people feel inferior and hesitate, others make mistakes/ask questions and become superior.
